John Denver, a singer-songwriter from Colorado who was a specialist in folk-pop music touched the hearts of millions. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born in Roswell, New Mexico. He fell in love Colorado and eventually settled in Aspen. Denver's popular songs about his new home state drew many tourists to Colorado. G.
